A lot about us

Here at Moon Meadow Farm, we carefully select a herd sire every 4 years as a back-up for our inseminated cows. We select the best semen for artificial insemination that will bring better genetics to our herd. This protects the health of our cattle. Every animal on the farm is provided with veterinary care as needed, but antibiotics are only used when medically necessary. No hormones or steroids are ever used on the farm. The meat is aged for at least two weeks, then custom cut, vacuum sealed, and frozen in our own butcher shop.

We follow strict conservation and land stewardship along with regular health and wellness for the cattle. We are BQA (Beef Quality Assurance) certified. We also follow NYSCHAP (New York State Cattle Health Assurance Program) protocols. We are focused on using the best available genetics to allow our cattle to thrive and be efficient in their environment so they produce high quality, tender meat with less fat. We love providing our customers a product that is as nutritious as it is delicious.
