Grass-Fed Cattle

At Moon Meadow Farms, all of our cows are raised on pasture and fed a diet of grass and hay. This is not only a more natural diet for the cows, but it also produces a higher quality of beef that is rich in flavor and nutrients. We make our own grain out of cob corn and add mineral pellets before harvesting the animal to add the much needed marbling to the meat.
Humane Animal Welfare Practices

Moon Meadow Farms is committed to providing the highest standards of animal welfare for their cows. We believe that a happy cow is a healthy cow, and we go to great lengths to ensure that our cows are comfortable and stress-free. This includes providing ample space for the cows to graze and roam, as well as access to clean water and shelter.

We practice rotational grazing, which helps to preserve the health of the soil and reduce the carbon footprint of their operation.
